Scott and I went on a date to an early movie and then were planning on going to dinner after that. Well, we got too full on popcorn so we had a couple of hours of babysitting left and nothing to do, so we went to price mini vans. Well, pricing turned to buying. We were able to talk the price down enough that it was worth it. Since we don't need the van until the baby is born, we were perfectly willing to just walk away, but the salesman really didn't want us to. We were talked up $1000 from the $5000 that we started with, but they were talked down $5000 from the $10,000, so I think we did o.k. and we were able to pay cash. It is old, a 1999 Toyota Sienna, but we have had such great service from the Toyota that we have, that it should still be a good vehicle for us for a while and it came with a report of all the services that it has had, so it has been taken care of. The kids think it is the greatest thing. My main problem with it is that it smells like old people, but my sense of smell is a little heightened at the moment.
