Will travel

Here he is in the car driving to the office. Its a long video at 8 minutes but it gives you a good idea what the traffic is like in the city. I was surprised to see how much they share the road with pedestrians and cyclists. People just walk in the middle of the lane and you have to wait for them. at one point there are even a bunch of cows just sitting on the side of the road. watch for them.
Roof top of the hotel.
He finally made it! Here is a video at the hotel.
On the second flight from Hong Kong to Delhi.
This video is later on during the flight after a long nap. The little pod he sits in is pretty cool looking.

Lunch is served!

preschool program

Rachel finished her last day of preschool today. Here is a clip from her program. She is kind of shy, she only did about half of the singing and dancing.

Rachel and the terrible two's

This is the fight I get every time I ask Rachel to eat something she doesn't want. Any suggestions on how to combat tantrums? She has definitely come into the typical "terrible two's". She also screamed bloody murder tonight during bath time when I tried to was her hair. I know this a "normal" phase but I worry that it won't go away. I don't want to be one of those moms who has spoiled bratty kids that you see always throwing fits in the grocery store, you know. Maybe I worry too much?

Rachel walking!

Here it is! Rachel is finally walking. She has taken one step here and there but today she decided to try a bit harder. Out of nowhere she just started taking 3-5 steps at a time and was determined to keep trying. So far she had been too nervous to try. The cutest part was that every time she fell down she would get back up and say "almost" then try again. Needless to say we were grinning ear to ear today. I'm glad she waited until her daddy was home to do it. So he got to see her first steps too.

Almost walking

I have been hoping for a while now that Rachel would start walking because sometimes life would be easier if I didn't have to carry her everywhere. Well she is not walking on her own yet but she is getting close. She can stand up by her self and balance and she will walk if she has something to hold onto. We are practicing with her every day. A lot of people say that once she is walking, we will wish she wasn't. What do you say? Do you encourage walking or not?

Rachel says Hi!

Rachel is always waving and saying hi but she won't ever do it for anyone but us so today I got her on camera saying hi. She is reading a book and is quiet at first but then says hi to one of the pictures. She loves to talk to her books.

Rachel's birthday party

We had a fun party for Rachel's birthday on Saturday at our clubhouse. I made cupcakes and Rachel wasted no time shoving it in her face. Daddy had to help her blow out her candle though. Then we opened presents and she had more fun playing with her presents than opening them. We had a fun day. Its hard to believe that it's been a year already.

HeHe! Isn't she just so cute!
